TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
